FIRM OVERVIEW

Ward Engineering, Inc. is a locally owned civil engineering and surveying firm with a versatile, dedicated staff of professionals who take pride in meeting the client's needs on time and within budget. We are small enough to provide tailored individual attention to critical tasks and timelines, yet we have the expertise and experience to meet any challenges.
 

Founded in 2001, Ward Engineering, Inc. initially concentrated on serving the construction industry with vital submittals, calculations, layout, and construction engineering services which served both public and private clients. In the years following, Ward Engineering's client base and client needs continued to grow as did the firm. In 2004, Ward Engineering expanded its staff to better serve the needs of our clients in the northeast region of Mississippi as well as the southwestern region of Tennessee. Expanding once more in 2010, the firm moved to its current location on Highway 15 North in RIpley, Mississippi. Our firm is continuing to grow with local employees offering expertise in various disciplines of professional services including civil engineering, planning, digital terrain modeling, estimating, scheduling, surveying and mapping services.  

The primary objective of this firm is to provide competent professional engineering and surveying services to our clients. That objective requires the provision of services which are timely, economical, cooperative and professional. 

Ward Engineering's past success is attributed to dedicated service to our clients, our community, and our employees. We have always and will continue to put our local clients first, no matter the type, size, or complexity of a project. We take pride in treating every client and project with the highest level of professionalism possible.  

Our engineering staff, surveyors and crew chiefs are committed to providing superior and quality services that meet or exceed the requirements of each project. 

Our engineering staff consists of one civil engineer and two CADD technicians, two ACI certified testing technicians and two MDOT Certified Construction Phase Storm Water managers.
Our survey team consists of one registered land surveyor, one land surveyor intern, one forestry management major and operates with a capability of up to four field survey crews.

Our engineering staff and surveying crews use state-of-the-art computer software and survey instruments. These include both static and RTK GPS systems, robotic and manual total stations, automatic and digital levels, electronic data collection, and computers equipped with full featured surveying software and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) programs.
